Thanks to its internet portal, MitoGether is a reliable source of regularly updated information on mitochondrial diseases, useful for patients and their carers, general practitioners and specialists, researchers and players in the pharmaceutical industry, both manufacturers and start-ups.
Our objectives?
Patients and their families will be better informed and therefore better cared for: understanding their mitochondrial disease, finding a local expert centre to receive specialist care for their disease, identifying the association that brings together other people affected Par the same disease, following and understanding current research, being informed of trials in preparation or that are recruiting…
Doctors and researchers will be better informed and supported: follow the evolution of knowledge and medical-scientific publications on mitochondrial diseases, learn about their optimal management, be alerted to current and future studies and clinical trials, and available research support, identify relevant conferences, etc.
Pharmaceutical laboratories will bebetter informed about the specificities and strengths of France, in order to accelerate the development of tomorrow’s treatments: to have a good understanding of the population of people affected Par mitochondrial disease in France, to understand how patient care and research are organized, to identify key associations and experts, and to get in touch with them…
