Genetic counseling

Genetic counseling consultations assess the likelihood of developing a hereditary disease or of passing on the genetic mutation in question to future children.

These consultations are aimed at patients, parents of patients, and their families and are conducted Par a geneticist or a genetic counselor.

They can also advise on reliable methods (prenatal diagnosis or PND, preimplantation genetic diagnosis or PGD) that limit or eliminate the risk of having an affected child.
